Goth Joy Division
[edit]Thanks for the excellent and sympathetic edit you made to the Joy Division article. I think you have captured my and the original editor's ideas very nicely. My experience was that lots of indie kids, who liked, say, Echo and the Bunnymen, Gang of Four maybe, Simple Minds, were also into JD, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, the Cult, whatever, but didn't do the style thing. So I think the article at least now reflects that pretty well. Thanks.Dr Zen 01:07, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Thanks for the message. I think most "movements" in music tend to be constructed by the biz. Hey, there's nothing wrong with it. Young guys like to dress up and set themselves aside. Even punk became far more about style than music. You sound like you have much the same idea of it than I do. I'm sorry if you feel I mischaracterised you -- not my intention.Dr Zen 23:59, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
honestly.
