[edit]I have deleted the story on James Gorman VC. as I am the copyright holder of this story. Harry Willey
part of migration?
[edit]Wasn't this part of a migration from that other site that I forget? Has the blanker shown his claim to hold the copyright? gren 06:44, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, this article was migrated verbatim from http://www.victoriacross.net as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Victoria Cross Reference Migration. I assume Mr Willey marked his contribution as copyright at victoriacross.net and now objects to its use on Wikipedia for some reason. I have removed Mr Willey's material from all the articles he blanked (Henry Dalziel, James Gorman (VC), Richard Kelliher, Reginald Roy Rattey and Bruce Steel Kingsbury), leaving the first three paragraphs which are standard to all victoriacross.net articles. The exception is Alfred John Shout which I had previously re-written, incorporating some of Mr Willey's text — if he still has objections to that one, it will need to be re-written again. Mr Willey's stuff is not the only copyright problem with the VC migrations, there are some entries with verbatim copies of newspaper articles. Geoff/Gsl 02:43, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)

At last after 29 years of research I believe I have the complete and correct story of James Gorman VC. Dont make me out to be the villian here. If you had approached me for permission to print any of my stories and acknowledged me as the source things may have been different. One big objection to submitting stories to you is the possibility of the true story being editored by others, If they know of any mistakes or additional facts let them write and submitt their own story.
