I have learned alot from thist article. But I wish the word 'postponed' would be changed. It makes the civil war seem inevitable, and implies that the alternative 'undivided house' was not a real possibility.
@Sbioggio Do you have a suggested alternative wording? I would argue that postpone, or delay, or a synonym remains appropriate. While at the time the war might not have seemed inevitable, we have the value of hindsight that shows that the war happened nonetheless. CaptainEekEdits Ho Cap'n!⚓06:51, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
