I assume those wall paintings were destroyed with the rest of the building in 1944? Adam Bishop 04:45, 18 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Very little, if anything, survived the bombing of Monte Cassino, certainly not the cupola. I think it's safe to say they're gone. Antandrus 04:47, 18 Sep 2004 (UTC)
