Translation woes

[edit]

i am unable to translate the terms regarding administrative subdivisions satisfactorily because someone has translated "regierungsbezirk" as "region", leaving "region" ambiguous. Badanedwa 21:33, Jun 14, 2004 (UTC)

the picture of the main palace at the bottom of the article seems somewhat misplaced. if someone reads this before i learn how to place pictures, maybe it can be moved to the other 3 pics. cheers number29 23:50, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is no such thing as 'the rifraly team of Ludwigsburg'. Is that a somehow misspelled reference to the 'Schützenverein' (marksmen club)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.72.223.208 (talk) 17:34, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Complete overhaul suggested

[edit]

Given the significance of this town, including its history, the castle, the local businesses and attractions such as the Märchengarten (that is, incidentally, mentioned in other articles), it's about time somebody did a full scale translation based on the German page - surely...BuzzWoof (talk)

It's a wonderful place. I lived there for 10 years and miss it a lot. I may take this on. Marrante (talk) 18:18, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good grief, no. I lived in "real" Ludwigsburg. Marrante (talk) 21:07, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Am I the only one who finds it odd that a seccion titled "Jews and Second World War" takes up one third of the article? Besides, the information there is almost irrelevant, it does not refer actually to the Jews but to a number of WWII related events, and it's poorly explained and clumsily glued together for no apparent reason. There should be a proper "History" seccion in which all these things are put in some order and context, and given the space that it is due or otherwise delete the current one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.49.189.214 (talk) 16:24, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Overhaul

[edit]

For today, I have made additions to the sections Public Institutions and Education in an effort to bring this article more in line with it's German counterpart.

Over time and in loose succession I shall try to continue this work. --Terminally uncool (talk) 18:23, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
