An American Haunting (2005)
[edit]Can someone add An American Haunting since this took place during the Bell Witch haunting? DynastiNoble (talk) 21:24, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
Racism or Eurocentrism?
[edit]Can anyone explain why we have separate lists and not a universal one? Why should there be a list of asian historical films and Western/Near Eastern historical films, but not american historical films?
Why isn't there a list of african historical movies? Or an australian one?—Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiManiacul (talk • contribs) 01:40, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
- I don't think that this is intentional Eurocentrism, but it is an awkward classification. The "Near East" is a largely outdated and very vague (Are the former Ottoman lands in Europe included?, North Africa?, Muslim Spain?) term; it also overlaps with Asia, which is on another list. I don't see a reason why there isn't just one list, or a list by century. Uness232 (talk) 11:37, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
