Agreed. That template equates Taiwan with the post-war ROC state/regime. A historical Template:Politics of Japan would be more compatible. 218.170.153.106 03:41, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Statement re Prime Minister Hamaguchi

On July 7, 1927 it put forward a "Statement of Recommendations", given to Prime Minister Hamaguchi Osachi

Problem is that Hamaguchi (apparently) did not become prime minister until 1929. The above statement needs to be fact-checked. A-giau 06:59, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

From what source did you get the information, A-giau? There are no references mentioned. Apparently, there is currently an attempt by Ma Ying-jeou to co-opt this piece of Taiwanese history for the benefit of Kuomintang. [1] [2] – Kaihsu 18:06, August 8, 2005 (UTC)
