Actually, it's a form of behavioral disorder induced by too much mermaid tuna and mermaid coffee just before bedtime. I knew I shouldn'ta mentioned mating. — Bill 18:15, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Maybe should be moved to asleep style. On the other hand, there are a lot of related hits in a google search. Hm. Keep Plutor 18:35, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I wrote this, after seeing this BBC article. Please let me know why you want to delete it. The Recycling Troll 18:37, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Since it's probably limited to a dic def, how about merge/redir with Sleep disorder? (I have actually experienced something similar [including finding used condoms in the morning which I don't remember using], but it's from alcohol induced blackouts, not a psychological disorder.) Niteowlneils 18:54, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Actually, Sleepwalking might be a better target. Seems to be basically the same thing, just a variation based on the subject's dreams. Niteowlneils 20:51, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- keep but expand & add the bbc link Wolfman 18:54, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Oh, come on. What does an article have to do to get deleted around here? If it's genuine, let's have some hard facts. Deb 19:09, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- It's a little known fact that, to be deleted, an article has to meet these criteria:
* Original research * Inappropriate user pages in excessive or stubborn cases. * Vanity page * Advert or other spam * No potential to become encyclopedic * Completely idiosyncratic non-topic
- Keep. Mark Richards 22:46, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- I believe it has to fulfil one of those criteria, rather than all of them.
Chris 22:01, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Yes, I meant one. It's a little known fact here that these criteria exist at all. Few articles listed on VFD meet any of them. Mark Richards 18:25, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- A noted form of Parasomnia, as is sleep masturbation (*cough*). Merge and redirect to Parasomnia or Sleepwalking. Darksun 21:49, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. It's a stub but has plenty of potential to be expanded. (Had a funny dream about that last night).--Tomheaton 21:53, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. This is a genuine disorder, and is not the same as sleepwalking. Intrigue 22:21, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- This cracked me up too much. 1) Latest excuse for bad nocturnal behavior. 2) I know I've been with lovers who might as well have been asleep. 3) Is there some disease that lets people have sex while they're awake, and is there some way I can get some people I know infected? Sorry. All kidding aside, the article needs to be greatly expanded. Keep and send to Clean Up, or, if the author is watching this, please put in some of the material you gather from research and take it away from a simple predicate nominative. Geogre 01:45, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, but it's too specific to merge with something else. Keep as is. Evercat 20:13, 17 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, a good friend of mine suffered from this condition.--[[User:Plato|Comrade Nick @)---^--]] 06:55, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I think the jokes we've seen here about it show that we need an article covering the truth of the matter. -- Antaeus Feldspar 16:00, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Genuine subject, but really needs expansion [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 18:55, Oct 20, 2004 (UTC)
