I finally decided to added an article about the strip, but I don't know to present the article in appropriate tone and wording, so I have to seek help from you fellows.

- Children in the strip often show ignorance on parents
What exactly does this phrase mean? - furrykef (Talk at me) 04:43, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- The meaning is "Children are often unaware of their parents' difficulties". Patrickov 05:44, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
On 20 May 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved from Baby Blues to Baby Blues (comic strip). The result of the discussion was moved. |
Clean up
[edit]This article need cleanup. There's a lot of great content here, but it's cluttered and needs more organization. The list of books can be forked off in List of Baby Blues books, for one thing and the images need to be properly tagged for copyright information. --Jtalledo (talk) 20:22, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
Bias
[edit]The first paragraph seems extremely negative rather than neutral towards the comic strip. I don't expect everyone to like everything, naturally, but it seems as if someone who really hates the comic wrote it and let their bias shine through. I'd like to nominate this for a flag for non-neutral content. -- jpallan 30 July, 2006
- Yes, that paragraph is horribly mistaken on the tone of the comic (although I could think of a couple other comics that might be spoken of that way). It gives an impression that simply isn't warranted. Someone fix it! Kilyle 22:24, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
White and Black Supporting Characters?
[edit]Is there something I'm missing here, or does this article have the supporting characters sorted by race?--Agent Aquamarine 03:32, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
I saw that too, so I decided to remove it. There is no place for racism. Sportman2 22:03, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
LOL. Sorting by race does not constitute "racism". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.51.145.197 (talk) 05:31, 18 July 2015 (UTC)
The TV Show
[edit]Someone should ad a section on the TV show. I don't know much about it other then it was short lived. --Cab88 12:57, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Characters' Age
[edit]The newest strip (March 20, 2007) implies Zoe is in 3rd Grade while Hammie is in 1st Grade. Can this be deduced that Zoe is indeed 8 now while Hammie is 6? (Actually Hammie told Darryl that he didn't "make it to 6 years old by being stupid") -- User:Patrickov 04:30, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Parent's age is almost certainly wrong. The birthdate (unsourced) might be right, but if the kids age at half-time, the parents probably do, to. Otherwise, they are rather late in life for the kids they are rasing. As with most of this article, needs fact check and cleanup —Preceding unsigned comment added by NotTires (talk • contribs) 05:44, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
While Hammie's birthday is certainly right (April 29th), the year he was born is clearly off, especially since this 1/2/1996 strip features Hammie when the article says he wasn't born until 1998. --70.162.223.238 (talk) 07:08, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Wren is not 2 years old. Even though she looks like a two year-old, Wanda said in one comic that she was 19 months old. Another comic had an old lady correctly guessing Wren's age. Other evidence include Wren saying only a few words and reading books by herself without reading out loud. After she turns 2, you guys can put 2 on the age description. Fair use image removal
[edit]I have removed all or a majority of the fair use images on this page as their use was not in line with our Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria policy (likely in that the use is not minimal (3.a.) and it is in a list or a gallery (8.)) or our Wikipedia:Non-free content guideline that states that cover images may only be used for critical commentary on the cover itself, not just identification. Please do not re-add them without discussion. Kotepho 09:48, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:YolandabyKirkmanandScott.JPG
[edit]Image:YolandabyKirkmanandScott.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This article needs work.
[edit]Okay, just reading through, I'm noticing numerous misspellings, grammatical errors, and the like. I'm going to try to work on it, but I thought that I better bring attention to this issue. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.137.176.179 (talk) 04:26, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

"Distributed by" who ?
[edit]According to the intro, "Baby Blues" is distributed by GoComics. Yet, in today's newspaper, it's stated that the distributor is "Andrews McMeel Syndication" but the comic strip is available at "GoComics.com".
Either a correction or clarification needs to be done. 2600:8800:204:C400:ED3A:E571:ACC2:7346 (talk) 18:23, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
Baby Blues Calendare
[edit]I am so disappointed in the 2024 Calendar, this year! I bought 2 of them and I have buying them for some friends and myself. The Daily Extra on the back of each daily calendar is: What year did the New Year's Eve Ball drop in the Ties Square for the first time?. That is on the back of each, daily calendar!
I want a refund or 2 new Baby Blues 2024, Calendars. I spent $17.99 on each one! Please Help Me!
