Hermitage Township?
[edit]I created and linked to Hermitage Township just now, despite its not being portrayed on the Census Bureau map. This I did because the unnamed township near Sharon on the map is called Hermitage Township on my Pennsylvania Atlas and Gazetteer. I know almost nothing about Mercer County; someone else please improve this township article! Nyttend 03:45, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- I made the map and made a mistake (I need to color the city red and will fix it in a day or less) as there is no Hermitage Township, just the city of Hermitage, Pennsylvania. See the article for its history and search here to see that it is a city (or search here to see that there is no township). Unlike Ohio, townships in PA are incorporated and all articles on them were made at the same time as the city and borough articles, so a missing township is highly unlikely here. Thanks for catching my map error (when I made the Ohio maps I didn't bother to color cities or villages or CDPs and it was much faster and avoided errors like this). Sorry for the confusion, Ruhrfisch 04:14, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- See here too (current US Census map [1] showing Hermitage PA) Ruhrfisch 04:29, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- The map is fixed now (might have to purge your cahce to see the change) - thanks for finding the error. Ruhrfisch 04:51, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Sharon MSA
[edit]I would question whether Mercer County was ever "also known as" the Sharon MSA. It might be more appropriate to say that it was "considered part of" or something like that. PurpleChez 25 Aug 2007 10:30 Eastern
