Correct
[edit]I did not write the main article. When I read it, I saw the This article did not list its sources label at the bottom. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I was impressed at the correctness of this article. Surely the otiginal author is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, how can you site sources if the sole source is going to one of these meetings every week? You can't quite list that in a bibliography, can you? I'd suggest going to the Church's non-member site or to the Official site of the Church and seeing if you can learn more. If you doubt that this article is correct, there is an e-mail the Church option at www.mormon.org where you can ask "What happens at a Sacrament Meeting?" or you can go to one to see. Everything in this article is correct. I have been going to Sacrament Meetings all my life. Once again, I did not write the main article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.200.116.69 (talk • contribs) 20:29, 5 June 2005
History
[edit]Wondering about the history of sacrament meeting and when the sacrament was first administered in the LDS Church. I am unaware of any sacrament administration before the founding of the Church in 1830. However, when Joseph Smith wondered about baptism, the visit of John the Baptist brought about the first baptisms. Was there a similar wondering about the sacrament? The Wiki article on Sacrament (LDS Church) states that weekly administration of the sacrament did not begin until sometime in the 1850s. Is this the time when the "Sacrament Meeting" started? There is room in this article for a bit of history. John Dyson — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.92.148.209 (talk) 23:35, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Looks great! Could you also be sure to add sources? I tried to factcheck where you found the information under "History" and couldn't find a source. SMBisbee (talk) 18:09, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
