References and peer review
[edit]This needs references. Any other ideas for improvement before I submit this to Wikipedia:Peer review and eventually Wikipedia:Featured article candidates? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus 23:06, 25 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- You think it's decent enough? Thanks :)
- Perhaps the artcile could do with some two more pics... Any ideas where to look for them? Also, there's still lots of red links in the text, I'll try to at least stubbise them. Halibutt 00:22, Dec 26, 2004 (UTC)
- Well, we can submit it to PR anytime, but I believe we need much more details. For FA I would like this to achieve detail and lenght similar to Wladyslaw Sikorski. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 11:00, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)
2 000 000 km²
[edit]- 2 000 000 km² of paved roads were built - that must be a mistake, but don't know the real number? and to give number of roads in sq km is strange... --62.111.227.194 18:26, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Not just strange, but absurd too.I think the real number must be 2,000,000 m².Agre22 (talk) 04:33, 1 May 2009 (UTC)agre22
Democratic elections
[edit]"On December 18, 1938 he was elected in democratic elections for his second term."
It's not true. He was chosen by government once again in early 1939.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Flb03jk (talk • contribs) .

Arrest and death
[edit]Under this section the article states that Starzyński was murdered by the Gestapo, and that "The crime was committed by Gestapo functionaries Oberscharführer Hermann Schimmann, Hauptscharführer Weber, and Unterscharführer Perlbach." The obvious problem with this statement is that the ranks mentioned for these men are Schutzstaffel (SS) ranks, not Gestapo ranks. The Gestapo equivalent for an SS Oberscharführer is "Kriminalassistent". The Gestapo equivalent for an SS Hauptscharführer is "Kriminaloberassistent". The Gestapo equivalent for an SS Unterscharführer is "Kriminalassistentanwärter". If the murder was carried out by these men and they were indeed Gestapo and not SS, then the ranks should be changed to reflect that.
