Two Stephanies
[edit]There will certainly be several problems in "Adam Bishop"'s path towards doctorate in medieval history, if his working methods and use of sources are as can be deduced from his possessive treatment of the text in this article.
One very simple test is to check timeline: how possible was it for one Stephanie de Milly to be married with Reynald, and also produce in early 1180's children to another husband, with whom marriage was made around 1179. 62.78.106.28 15:40, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Perhaps not as many problems as you copying from only one source. I had never read about any first cousin of Stephanie, and what you added made even less sense than Stephanie having two husbands at the same time. I've tried to fix it. Adam Bishop 16:29, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I've added an external link to the relevant piece of genealogy. Her first husband, William of Botron, was briefly Constable of Jerusalem; Botron seems to have been a fief of Tripoli. Choess 18:10, 2005 Jun 4 (UTC)
A separate article is needed
[edit]Why not have a separate article on her cousin, Stephanie, rather than a section on her?--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 11:45, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
