Basic bio and qualifications:

Age: Late 50s

Education: MEng in Electrical Engineering

Work experience: Over 30 years in various aspects of computer design/architecture and computer programming.

Life experience: Married & homeowner for 30 years. Parent for 28. Considerable experience with many aspects of home repair, as well as some construction experience with Habitat for Humanity and other volunteer groups. Electrical/electronic hobbist since about age 8.

Medical conditions: Apparent occult polio at age 21 months, post-polio syndrome for at least 5 years. Though no actual paralysis, many effects of polio throughout my life, including fatigue and memory problems.

Essential tremor since age 13, no apparent hereditary factor, presumably caused by polio.

ADHD, lifelong, but diagnosed as an adult.
