Pinch in Ocean's Eleven
[edit]The EMP-device in Ocean's Eleven was also called a pinch. As discussed on http://www.aip.org/isns/reports/2001/033.html(link dead), a pinch actually exists, but it is not used as an EMP-device. In fact, it is a very poor EMP-device. Sandia's Z-pinch is the largest in the world.
