A suggestion: red links for the categories don't look that great, and we don't want to encourage people to create empty categories. Better to only list the categories that actually exist so far. Stan 02:33, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It sounds good for me. I just put them as html comment. We can continue working on it as html comment and put live as soon as philately articles increase in volume and quality --AdrianMastronardi 20:00, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Penny Black

[edit]

How come the Penny Black featured article on this Portal refers to it being issued by the United Kingdom when it should refer to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland as is correct in the actual Penny Black article? Surely this article is fed from the original article. If not where has this error come in from? ww2censor 03:41, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have corrected it. Thanks for the comment. --AdrianMastronardi 21:05, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Themantic vs. Topical

[edit]

A recent page in the American Philatelist Italic textsuggested that a Themantic collector studied the topic stamps were illustrating (an Astrophilatelist, for example) as opposed to a Topical collector who accumulated issues grouped by image (a lighthouse stamp collector). Is Themantic a synonym for Topical, as WP suggests or is it in keeping with the article published in the American PhilatelistBold text? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.76.235.232 (talk) 22:25, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
